What a Difference a Year Makes.

It is amazing how much can change in a year. Many of my Facebook friends have started the "Thankful" thing again. So I decided to look back on my blog from last year titled November Thankful. So much has changed. It seems unreal how much time can change things. I went from being thankful to being a stay at home mom to being thankful this year I have a job. I was thankful for planning a cruise that has still never happened, at least not with my hubby. :) Some things have changed and some have not. My Thankful list will be ever growing. So here's to 2011 and the 100 things I am thankful for this year.

1. I am thankful for my parents who are the greatest.
2. I am thankful for my husband of now 14 years.
3. I am thankful for 3 beautiful daughters.
4. I am thankful for one loving son.
5. I am thankful for my job.
6. I am thankful that I work with some of my best friends.

15. I am thankful for the way our family sticks together through thick and thin.
16. I am thankful to be able to mentor to 2 great students.
17. I am thankful that I can make people smile.
18 I am thankful that God provides me with all I need.
19. I am thankful for my new addiction Pinterest.
20. I am thankful for the beautiful weather and that my electric bill should be dropping drastically.
21. I am thankful for some lessons I have learned this year. Sometimes we just need to let go of the things that don't want to hold on to us in return.
22. I am thankful for the friends that see friendship is a two way street.
23. I am thankful that my new friends are givers like me! :)
24. I am thankful that I am apart of the PTA this year.
25. I am thankful for such a great support system in our school; teachers, staff, and most parents!
26. I am thankful my hubby has a love for cooking.
27. I am thankful For Mirna, she is an amazing friend.
28. I am thankful that my kids still have some great friends.
29. I am thankful that my kids are leaders and not followers.
30. I am thankful that I am trying to get healthier.
31. I am thankful for a great mentor like Mrs. Montano.
32. I am thankful for silly shows that make me laugh.
33. I am thankful that my brother's accident was not as bad as it looked and he is still here with us.
34. I am thankful for the hugs I get at school everyday.
35. I am thankful for people that are willing to give their time and volunteer in our public schools.
36. I am thankful for my NANA (Aunt Laura) who always tells it like it is!
37. I am thankful that my hubby found a hobby that he really enjoys.
38. I am thankful that my sis in law Kelly and I have became closer this year.
39. I am still thankful for my few faithful readers!!! You make it worth while!
40. I am thankful that my kids have great teachers that care about them and the well being of the other students in the school.
41. I am thankful for my creative crafty side.
42. I am thankful that I can choose a new church. (pray for us on this one)
43. I am thankful that my life is chaotic and I stay in tune with my children.
44. I am thankful that we will soon move and hopefully into better Jr high/ High school for the kids.
45. I am thankful that my husband puts up with my shenanigans.
46. I am thankful for my extended family, those who are far away.
47. I am thankful for all the memories that haven't faded from my mind.
48. I am thankful for my sight.
49. I am thankful for my ability to hear.
50. I am thankful for the ability to speak.
51. I am thankful for my new found fearlessness to speak in front of people..
52. I am thankful for being nominated employee of the year.

54. I am thankful for healthy children.
55. I am thankful for nights out with my mom.

57. I am still and always will be thankful for forgiveness.

60. I am thankful for my new favorite drink Powerade Zero.
61. I am thankful for my gym membership. Although I need to do better about going... :(
62. I am thankful for the little adult chit chat I get throughout my day.
63. I am thankful for 2 AWESOME brothers!
64. I am thankful for Jessie, even though she doesn't come around much anymore. :( <-- guilt trip :)
65. I am thankful for Facebook, it keeps me in touch and update with those friends I have made all over the country.
66. I am thankful that next year I will be able to have a CAT!!!!!
67. I am thankful for kisses from my little ones and not so little ones too!
68. I am thankful for all the silly things they say that make my day complete.

70. I am thankful for the willingness of others to help those in need.
71. I am so thankful that my list has changed so much this year.
72. I am thankful for a belly full of warm good food.
73. I am thankful that I am free to be me.
74. I am thankful for those who see good in me when most times I can only see my faults.
75. I am thankful for a helping heart.
76. I am thankful that my children take after me in so many ways.

78. I am still thankful Mike has a steady job.
79. I am thankful that life is always changing, and most of the time it seems for the better.
80. I am thankful for 2nd chances.
81. I am thankful so many who serve their country for our freedom.
82. I am thankful for my father's laugh, it can always cheer me up.
83. I am thankful for my warm cozy bed, where I will be shortly!
84. I am thankful that some forgive and truly forget.
85. I am thankful for those who don't give up on my family no matter what the situation is.
86. I am thankful for God's blessings in my life, the simple and the complicated.
87. I am thankful that God has a plan for me and will guide me in these next 5 months.
88. I am thankful I am not perfect.
89. I am thankful for special compliments I have received recently.
90. I am thankful for my "life as a Navy wife and yet kinda sad that it will soon come to an end.
91. Thankful for songs that will bring back a flood of memories.
92. I am thankful for pictures.
93. I am thankful for another day of being alive and capable of being a mom.
94. I am thankful for each of my friends. It is so true that there is a season for everything including friends. Some come into our lives and quickly go and others stay awhile taking only what they need. Then there are those true friends that last a life time. I am thankful for those.
95. I am thankful for the programs at our school that keep the kids active and involved.
96. I am thankful for the love of my husband, there is no greater love, than the TRUE love of an husband and a wife.
97. Ok Maybe there is I am thankful for the love I have in my heart for each of my children each special in their own unique way. My life would not be the same without them.
98. I am thankful for my giving heart. If only I could hit the lottery there would be a lot of happy people. :)
99. I am thankful for tomorrow, even though we are never guaranteed the gift, it is always a new day and it gives a chance for renewal of spirit, body, and mind.
100. I am overly thankful for another great year! It only gets better! Thank for all those who made it what it is!

It is  always amazing the little things we can think of to be thankful for, the memories that will come rushing back, present and past! Maybe take a minute to do this yourself, maybe even if it is just once a day for the rest of the month! Remember the true spirit of Thanksgiving is being thankful, if more people were just that THANKFUL maybe the world would be a better place.
